Introduction

I love reading hackernews. However, sometimes, I do not have time, so I miss some articles.

To prevent missing any articles, I have built a monitoring tool: Every hour, it checks for the top page, and get the article matching AI related topics.0

I try to classify these weekly results, so it is easier to search. Nevertheless, an article can easily fall into several categories. For instance, article relative to Claude code can be “how I did X with claude”, it may fall in Coding Agent category or Personal Blogs one. I need to select. Most of the time, Articles fall in Personal blogs if they hardly match another category.

In the future, I may add several tags to an article, and provide a way to filter given these tags.

Categories Definition

Model Training

Everything related to:

  • new published model (on Hugging Face or private companies)
  • everything related to hosting / GPU optimization

Coding Agents

  • Things related to Claude / Claude Code
  • Or other coding agents

Personal blogs / Opinions

When the title is more likely to describe a position, or thing that have been done, a way of thinking.

Politics / Strategy

Mostly about big tech, official news (people discussing it as good or bad falls into the previous category)

News

When the article is more from traditional publishing journal

Others

When it difficultly fit the other categories. It can still be valuable (book or other github)
